About TREELIGION
TREELIGION INC., located at 870 Kokomo Rd., Haiku, Hawaii, is a non-profit organization committed to protect and restore native forests worldwide through educating the public and working with native communities.
TREELIGION is led by Cody C. Clark (Founder/Executive Director) who is a certified arborist and has more than 10 years experience in running his tree care business. Through his many years traveling the world, he has acquired vast knowledge in the world's varied ecosystems and native communities, and has a special ability in connecting with people of all walks of life.
Mr.Clark is supported by a team of board members- Mille Kohl (entrepreneur/event planner) and Vinicius Pimenta (video/photographer)- that together have experience in management, fundraising, organizing events, marketing, international travel, connecting people and achieving key goals.

Cody C. Clark
"I serve as board member of Treelegion to help it’s overall objective of preserving and growing the forests on planet Earth."
Education:
- Studied mathematics at UC San Diego.
- Associates degree in restaurant and culinary management from Western Culinary Institute, Portland, OR.
Professional:
- I have worked in the forestry industry for 20 years.
- Owned and operate a tree services company for 10 years, I’m a certified arborist and licensed contractor in the state of Hawaii.
- I have sponsored a jaguar project in the Brazilian Amazon to help preserve wildlife and the forest.
- My company ClimbingHI donates part of the proceeds to support tree planting and donated funds to help build an educational institute in Kashmir, India.
Skills & Strengths:
- Possesses endless amount of energy to push any objective through.
- Have no fear to venture into any place.
- Can endure mental and physical pain for the right cause.
- Business management experience.
Mille B. Kohl
"I serve as a board member to assist in growing TREELIGION into an impactful non profit for positive change in the world."
Education:
- High School.
- Self educated in performing arts and business.
Professional:
- 1973-1985 choreographed, performed and produced dance concerts & fundraisers in collective group in Ellensburg, WA and Maui.
- Worked with husband to create Aloha Champagne, Inc. (musical champagne) and The Moon Caster Toy that launched milk caps during the 90’s milk cap craze.
- Started the Inn at Mama’s Fish House.
- Secured numerous permits for Mamas Fish House, Maui (including beach sand replenishment and consolidation parking lot).
- Board Member for Pa’ia Youth & Cultural Center, Maui.
- Currently manage 3 rental properties and host events at my residence.
Skills & Strengths:
- Enjoy and work well collaborating within group structure.
- Aware of what not to do.
- Love the planet.
Vinicius Pimenta Bessa
"I serve as a board member of TREELIGION to spread awareness thru education about preservation and sustainability."
Education:
- Studied Computer Science at UVA Rio de Janeiro.
- Associates Degree in Graphic Design.
Professional:
- Worked in the computer industry for 8 years while in Brazil. From computer maintenance to graphic work.
- Founded a Videography Business on Maui focused on producing marketing content for businesses.
Skills & Strengths:
- Great at helping people achieve their goals.
- Very creative and artistic.
- Thinks outside the box.
- Bilingual English-Portuguese.
